What:  Rocket Launch at Lucerne Dry Lake, then rained out  See Troop page for new dates. To Calico Park campground. Tour Calico and then camp over night at Calico.
              Rocket Launch count toward the completion of the Space Exploration Merit Badge.
            Sunday morning service in Calico and then a 5 mile hike in Odessa Canyon.
           One night camping, Weather looks good. High  56°   low 37°      rain 0%     wind W 8 mph

When: Be at the ONC  Sat morning at 7 am (note new time)
              Return home Sunday at 3pm in the South main parking lot. Scout will call to let parents know if we are on time.
                 Lake Bed LAUNCH TIMES: from 8:00am to 12:00 noon. Lake bed lunch at noon, then to Calico.
                 At 5:00 pm depart the Town and go to Campsite for camp set up and cooking dinner.
                 Sunday AM Breakfast and break camp. Then drive to a spot for Sunday scouts own service, and a hike, trail lunch and head home.

Where:  Saturday Morning +to Calico Town to tour and camp one night.  Camp site # 17, 18, 19 and 20  name D.S. 

            Site 17 18 and 19 and 120v AC ! 

Cost:  $20.00 for Camp, food and Launching.   (Rockets and Motors extra,  1 Rocket and 2 motors or $15 at class)(extra motor $2 each at launch day.) 

Space Exploration Merit Badge: Come to the class on either Jan. 8  Classs Flyer
To earn the MB, come one of the two to classes offered and launch a rocket your made two times.
 

Day will be nice and the night cold

Bring: Bed pad, mummy type sleeping bag, clean sweats pants or long under wear to sleep in, beanie hat that must be able to cover ears, gloves for warmth and gear in duffle bags (Class A and B). Also Bring all the 10!

Dec 27, 2012 OR Jan 6, 2013 Classs Flyer  Space Exploration Merit Badge Class, Kidz Port 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
