Come learn about the History of BSA and scouting in the San Gabriel area.

To complete Scouting Heritage Merit Badge:

2)  Bring to the Class: 

a)  Bring 10 small random items you can find around your home.
The items can be as small as a paper clip and as large as an apple.
Bring them in a grocery bag.
Also bring a towel large enough and thick enough to cover the 10 items. 

b) Bring Clipboard or notepad and pen-pencil

c) Bring # 6 below, if you can.  (this #6 can be done just before or after the class)

# 6 Make a collection of some of your personal patches and other Scouting memorabilia. With their permission, you may include items borrowed from family members or friends who have been in Scouting in the past, or you may include photographs of these items. Show this collection to your counselor, and share what you have learned about items in the collection. (There is no requirement regarding how large or small this collection must be.) 

d) Bring a Blue Card, if you do not have one, one will be provided.  

e) Scout Must know: The name of their Scoutmaster, SPL and Host Charter of their Troop.  Also if they can find it the year their Troop was started and where the Troop's Summer camp was held.

 Note: There is no MB homework for Scouting Heritage Merit Badge, if all the above is brought to the class.
