Greetings,
We are starting a new simple program in Pack 373, the BSA Denner Program.
Two Scouts in a Den will be picked to be the Denner and Assistant Denner
for about one month.
We will rotate so all boys get a chance to have a position.
The Denner will wear a Gold Denner Cord on his shoulder above the San
Gabriel council patch.
Assistant Denner will do the same with the Assistant Denner Cord.
PLEASE DO NOT WASH THESE GOLD CORDS! Remove before washing uniforms.
About once a month the Assistant Denner will become the Denner and a
new Assistant Denner will be assigned
by the Den Leader.
Pack responsibilities of Denner: He wears two Gold Cords.
1) To Arrive on time to Den and Pack meetings.
2) To set up the Den Flag, (to be supplied by Cub Master)
3) To hold the Den Flag in the front of the Den line for the 7:05pm
opening ceremony.
4) To take the Den Flag to the Den meeting.
5) Set (Display) the flag up against the wall at the Den Meeting.
6) To hold the Flag during the Den (or Pack) Closing ceremony.
7) See that the Flag pole does not hit anyone, keeps it up right..
8) Returns the Den Flag to the Cub Master.
Pack responsibilities of Assistant Denner: He wears one Gold Cord.
1) To stand at the end of the Den line for the opening ceremony.
2) Take over the responsibilities of Denner if he is absent or late
or leading the Pledge.

once a late Dinner arrives.

When your Scout receives his gold cord(s) please review this page with him.
The Den Leader may choice to give the Denners other responsibilities in the Den meetings.
