Facilities: The campground has four picnic tables, a vault toilet, group campfire ring and a drinking water faucet. The maximum car- trailer rv length is 40 feet.
Nearby Attractions: Visit the Chilao Visitor Center, just 1.5 miles north of the campground. Chilao CampGround - Silver Moccasin Trail and Vetter mountain lookout,
There is a gate with a combination lock at the campground; visitors will receive the code in their reservation confirmation
Bears frequent the area; all food must be kept in cars or approved bear proof containers.
Coulter Campground is located off State Highway 2 in the Manzanita Loop (strait in form entrance) of Chilao Campground, 26 miles north of the 210 Freeway in La Canada.

From La Canada, CA, at the intersection of I-210 and Angeles Crest
Highway (State Rt. 2): Take Rt. 2 east for 25.6 miles to the campground
sign. Turn left at the sign and go 0.1 miles to a "Y" intersection. Bear
left towards the Manzanita Loop on the left of Chilao Campground and turn
left. Proceed to campsite 30, turn right on the road blocked
by the white gate that goes to Coulter Group Campground. Use the combination
received upon reservation confirmation to open the combination lock and
enter the campsite.
