“A Scout is reverent. A Scout is reverent towards God. He is Faithful in his religious duties. He respects the beliefs of others” (Boy Scout Handbook)
“On my honor, I will try to serve God….."(Girl Scout Promise)
The Hike is about 5.2 miles long. Scouts (Boy & Girl) with their leaders and families will hike to 8* different Churches or Faith Centers. At each location, a member of the clergy or congregation will speak on one of the Ten Commandments and will also provide a brief history and/or background of their faith.
