Camp will be offering Merit Badges.
As this camp will be hosted by Troop 373, the cost will
be less than the Holcomb Camp.

Yosemite Backpack
We will have a backpack option for our Scouts to depart
from the base camp and go backpacking.
Backpackers Drive in on Sunday Aug. 15,
Backpackers hike out Tuesday Morning 17 and (Return TBA
Friday or Sat.)
Carpool car seats permitting.

Yosemite Car Camp

The Troop will be arriving at Hodgdon in the afternoon on. Sunday August 15
The Troop will have a week long base camp at Hodgdon Meadow. There will be a fee to cover Food and the Camp site)
Merit Badges:
Cooking MB
Indian Lore MB
Carpentry (extra $20.00 fee for supplies)
Environmental Science
or
Soil and Water Conservation. is part of the World Conservation
Award also called Panda Badge..
(Note: Scouts under First Class maybe required to replace a
merit badge class with Rank advancement time and cannot take Environmental
Science.)
Return Saturday Aug. 22 or Sunday Aug. 22. Carpool car seats permitting.
Family Camp:
Parents and Families are welcomed to come up on Tuesday and depart
on Sunday. During this time span the backpackers will be out and
there will be lot of space at the camp. So if you like you can come up
Tuesday Aug. 17 and Depart Sunday Aug. 22.

Hodgdon Meadow Campground Elevation: 4,900 ft (1,500 m)
Clouds can build up during the summer to produce thunderstorm activity.
It is wise to pack for any season with clothing that can be "layered,"
ready to peel off or add on as the thermometer dictates. Always include
some kind of rain gear when visiting.
