1)
Youth Protection training is required for all BSA registered
volunteers. Youth Protection Training must be taken every two years
(was each year). Training or Membership Chair will contact those that
need updating.
2) Troop 373's Best Practices policy
is that parents that are attending Troop Campouts should also take
Youth Protection Training. In doing so it increases the safety of our
Scouts. This also helps parents and leaders to be all on the same page
on BSA camping and outings. This can reduce conflict and
confusion. Parents that do not go camping are also encouraged to
take the class.
Youth Protection training is free to take and is offered online.
