Can have max 8 persons per site. Max 3 Cars per site.  24 People and 9 cars.  
Camp Site Check in 2 pm   Check out is 12 pm  noon.  
Can use day use before check in.

Beach is down a short hill. There are two trails to the beach, a ranger station and visitor center.

The mile long beach is between the ocean surf and the foot of a steep bluff.

Campground  include an amphitheater, flush toilets, hot showers, picnic area and overflow parking. 

• Historic Cottage Visitor Center.  10am - 2pm
• Day-use and beach access.  6:00 AM -10:00 PM  Cars: Day Use $15.00, Senior Day Use $14.00, Disabled Day Use $7.50*
• Day-use parking lots are open (San Clemente, Califia, and Trestles).

Getting there:

Interstate 5 South
Exit Ave. Calafia
Proceed straight onto Ave. Calafia
State Beach entrance will be on your left side in ¼ mile

Interstate 5 North
Exit Cristianitos Road
Turn left and proceed over the freeway
Turn right onto Ave. del Presidente
Turn left onto Ave. Calafia
State Beach entrance will be on your left side in ¼ mile

The entrance to San Clemente State Beach will be locked & closed daily from 10pm until 6am.
Please make arrangements prior to your arrival if you need to check in for your reservation after that time.
