Den 4 for Girls in 4th or 5th  Grade

Den 4 meeting are on Monday, From 7pm to 8:30pm

By request of moms and daughters Pack 373 has started Cub Scout Dens for Girls.

Come check out this Program for Girls. As fun and learning is for both Boys and Girls.

The same quality program that started in 1930 is now open to Girls.

While other Youth Groups have closed all their Scout Camps, or never had any.
Cub Scout Girls now have available to them the same quality Scout Camps open to Boys.
When a Cub Scout Girl turn 10 years old, BSA now also has a new quality program for them called Scouts BSA.
 Scouts BSA gives Girls Leadership opportunity, Scout Camps, Camping Skills, a quality program and much much more.  This is offered in Troop 373B

Background

BSA received overwhelming requests from families with daughters interested in the Cub Scout program. Research shows 90 percent of BSA parents are interested in getting their daughters involved in a program like Cub Scouts. That’s why we began discussions about expanding traditional programs to girls. We recognized a need and worked to meet it.  In addition to offering Cub Scouts to girls and boys started in 2018, a program for older girls started in 2019, providing young women the path to earn the highest rank of Eagle in separate girl Troops.

The values of the BSA Scout Law – trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent – are relevant and important values for young men and young women.  BSA has been providing programs to girls since 1971, with  Exploring program, Venturing, Sea Scouts and STEM.  .  Boy Scouts of America girls program are called: Cub Scout for younger girls and Scouts BSA for older girls.  Girls will have the same requirements.
Youth protection and safety is paramount in all of the BSA’s programs, training and rules will be required for safety. Thousands of  girls have already joined cub scouts.
