Camellia Festival Parade

Troop 373, Troop 373G and Pack 373 at the Camellia Festival Parade

Scout Drop is at 9 am at front of the Old Kmart Parking Lot.  5665 N Rosemead Blvd. Temple City, CA 91780  gmap

At  9:20am we will walk from Kmart to the Center Island on Las Tunas next to the palm trees (between Las Tunas Drive and  Sultan ).

We are entry 41 and 42  (Troop 373  and Pack 373)

Parade Starts at 10:am  and is just over one mile walk. (no bikes or other wheeled devices)

Parade Route Las Tunas Drive, From Sultana to Camellia in Temple City.

(Parade end at Temple City Park   (5939 Golden West Ave, Temple City, CA 91780, we will continue to walk to Baldwin meeting spot)

All Scouts and Adults must wear their uniform.  Parent wanting to march in the Parade need to wear uniform.  (Youth must be ages 5 to18 years). (wear either Blue Jean or Scout Pants)

This is the 78th Temple City Camellia Festival Parade  Theme “Small Town, Big Dreams".

At the end of the Parade your family may depart or in Temple City Park will be a Festival, Carnival and Food.


Pick up your Scout at the corner of S Baldwin Ave & Woodruff Ave, the lawn of the North side (Woodruff) of Hope Church of Temple City, at  6019 S Baldwin Ave, Temple City, CA 91780 .

All parent must pick up your Scout with Mr. Sargent at Hope Church, unless arranged to have meeting with your Scout at other location.   gmap

If you need a ride to the start of the Parade  (Rosemaed and Las Tunas) LA Metro Bus 78 departs Las Tunas and Baldwin each half hour and take only 9 min to return you to the start.
Bus departs Las Tunas and Baldwin at: 11:55pm, 12:25pm, 12:55pm, 1:25pm, 1:54pm and 2:24pm   > Must have a metro tap card with at least $1.75. Can get a Gold Line Stations.
