Hi,
It look like a great time for the 1st Year Scout Patrol this weekend.
Please
reply with a RSVP for this friday's camp. A Parent is welcome to
come
with their Scout, but they are not required to stay for the camp. Cost
is
$10.00 a person (scout or
parent), this includes:
dinner, breakfast and the camp site.
($2.00 off if not eating Breakfast.)
Arrive
anytime after 5pm to set up tents, Scouts will need to help set up a
tent (Troop will
provide tents for Scouts), loaner tents
for parents are available at request.
Scouts will start preparing their dinner at about 6:45pm. Late
arrivals
can continue to set up tents after dinner. In the morning,
breakfast will
be served and Scouts that need to depart may. Scouts that want to can
visit the
Nature center before departing starting at about 9:30am.
I have 5 parking passes for the 1st 5 parents staying the night to
RSVP, others
will need to pay the $5.00 parking fee at the gate.

Camp is at the Top of Monrovia Canyon Park in Fire's Flat (not Trask)

The gate to Monrovia Canyon Park is locked at 5:00pm on Friday. The top
lock is the city's lock. The code to open the lock is TBA
for evening or night entrance or exiting. Bring a flash light to help
see the code. If the lock is hard to open, try pushing up then down to
open. Lock the gate behind you. The Gate swings into the park only to
open.
To save time on Friday, please complete the pdf BSA Class 1 Medical form and have your scout bring it to camp Friday.

Your Scout Tuesday was told to bring:
Sleeping pad (foam roll or fold up best)
Sleeping bag (any type for this camp)

The Scout ESSENTIALS List: (in a day pack) (please bring what you can, do not worry)
